Our Car Care with NC 1 at Home and with Almost No Water!

For more than 20 years, the Nobelclean team has been cleaning vehicles with almost no water. How car care with NC 1 works at home – and why car washes and wash bays can't keep up.

Impossible? Really? Scratches in the paint? A clear no!

From now on, you can conveniently clean your favorite car at home without water, right in front of your neighbors:

  • You need 1 to 2 buckets of warm water (and only to rinse the dirt out of the microfiber cloth). Warm water is kind to your hands.
  • 4 microfiber cloths (best quality, at least 350 g): one for cleaning, the rest to bring the paint to a shine.

Important: The microfiber cloths must be suitable for a 90-degree machine wash and for the tumble dryer!

Location? Wherever you are.

The most important things

  • Your effort is rewarded with a super shiny car. It stays clean much longer than a car cleaned in a car wash.
  • It is much cheaper (about 2 euros per car care session).
  • No more driving anywhere – except to the self-service wash bay in winter.
  • No waiting at home; only possibly at the wash bay in winter.
  • Very economical and environmentally friendly: you save water, and you can use the cloths again and again.
  • Wheels and windows shine just like the paintwork.
  • No water running out of every gap – unless you use the wash bay.
  • No need to dry off with a chamois.

The car wash as an alternative?

Even though some car washes deliver a good result, they can't compare with a Nobelclean hand clean with almost no water:

  • much more expensive
  • driving there
  • possibly waiting times
  • damage possible
  • the car still has to be waxed for the best result
  • it doesn't shine, it's just clean

Self-service wash bays as an alternative?

In our opinion, these are even considerably worse than a good car wash, let alone the Nobelclean hand clean:

  • also very expensive
  • usually poor water quality
  • the car doesn't get properly clean (especially black cars)
  • driving there and, here too, possibly waiting times
  • you have to use the brushes provided
  • the car should be dried afterwards, otherwise you get water spots

So what's stopping you from doing the Nobelclean shine clean with NC 1 at home? Only you :-)

How does cleaning without water actually work?

When you clean with our NC 1, the dirt is surrounded or encapsulated and lifted off by the microfiber cloth. Always clean in one direction and refold the cloth so that the dirt doesn't get back onto the paint. Once the cloth gets dirty over time, rinse it out in the bucket and wring it out. Now the dirt is in the bucket, and you can clean the next section with peace of mind.

Important: Always work section by section. First the fender, then the door and so on. Divide the hood into sections too: clean the right side first, then the left side, and then buff dry to a shine (with a dry microfiber cloth). Then the windows and finally the wheels. And the tire sidewalls too, if you like.

Cleaning the cloths

Now wash the cloths at 60 degrees and put them in the dryer. Please don't use fabric softener. It damages the structure of the cloth, and it will clean worse and worse. Ideally, put them in a laundry bag and wash them like that. Don't wash them with your regular laundry, because cotton and microfiber don't get along. The microfiber cloth would pick up fibers and work worse and worse.
