One product for almost the whole car

NC1 is made for the surfaces that matter on a car. Here is how to use it, surface by surface:

Paintwork: spray on, lift the dirt in one direction without pressure, buff with a clean side of the cloth. NC1 does not smear, leaves no holograms and repels dirt.
Windows and mirrors: use a separate cloth so no wheel grime ends up on the glass.
Rims: last of all, with a cloth that never goes back on the paint.
Door jambs: the edges a car wash tends to miss are easy to reach with a cloth.
Interior: dashboard, touchscreens and instrument cluster. Spray NC1 onto a damp cloth for these. Leather and fabric seats cannot be cleaned completely with it.

Which product for what?

To get started there is the NC1 Starter Kit with a 500 ml spray bottle, a 2.5 liter refill and three microfiber cloths. If you clean regularly, top up from the NC1 5-liter refill canister – one canister fills the spray bottle ten times. According to NOBELCLEAN, 5 liters are enough to bring a complete car to a high gloss at least seven to ten times.

When heavier dirt comes along – insects in summer, tar splashes behind the wheels, caked-on brake dust – the NC13 heavy-duty cleaner complements NC1. Both, plus ten extra cloths, come together in the NC1 Professional Set.

When you do need water

Waterless cleaning works for dust, pollen, fingerprints and light road film. Rinse off mud, coarse sand and road-salt crusts first, because under a cloth the grains act like sandpaper. Then dry the car with a microfiber cloth and carry on waterless as usual. Work in the shade and not on hot paint, otherwise the product dries before you have lifted it. On matte paint, wraps and special finishes, try NC1 on an inconspicuous spot first and follow your vehicle manufacturer's instructions.

How often?

There is no fixed schedule: clean as soon as dust or a film of dirt appears. Because NC1 repels dirt, each wash after that gets easier. The step-by-step method is explained in our guide How to wash a car without water.

Frequently asked questions

Does NC1 scratch the paint?

No, says NOBELCLEAN: since 1999 its own teams have cared for vehicles with NC1 without water, including Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche. Technique is what counts: rinse off coarse dirt first, wipe in one direction without pressure and use a clean part of the cloth for every pass.

How many washes do I get from 5 liters?

According to NOBELCLEAN, one 5-liter canister brings a complete car to a high gloss at least seven to ten times. It refills the 500 ml spray bottle ten times.

Can I use NC1 on the interior too?

Yes, on smooth surfaces such as the dashboard, touchscreens and instrument cluster: spray NC1 onto a damp microfiber cloth and buff clean. Leather and fabric seats cannot be cleaned completely with it.

Does it work on matte paint or wraps?

Try NC1 on matte paint, wraps, special finishes and sensitive plastics on an inconspicuous spot first, and follow your vehicle manufacturer's instructions.
