Waterless motorhome & caravan cleaning

Campsites rarely have a hose, and a motorhome often won't fit through a car wash. With NC1 you clean motorhomes and caravans waterless, wherever they are parked. NC13 takes care of the insect front, and the 5-liter canister keeps you supplied on long trips.

Guide

The care kit for the road

Waterless cleaning doesn't need much storage space, just the right selection:

  • Spray bottle with NC1: the NC1 Starter Kit includes the 500 ml bottle, a 2.5 liter refill and three microfiber cloths.
  • Supply: the NC1 refill canister fills the bottle ten times. Stow it upright and tightly closed.
  • Plenty of cloths: a motorhome has many times the surface of a car, and every pass needs a clean part of the cloth. The microfiber cloths come in packs of 3, 5 and 10.
  • Bucket and laundry bag: one bucket of water for rinsing out cloths, one bag for used ones.
  • NC13 for the front, in its own clearly labelled bottle.

Stages, not a big clean

Nobody wants to spend a day of their holiday cleaning the motorhome. Split the job: the front today, one side tomorrow, the other the day after. Work in the shade and only spray as much as you can lift in one go. Start with the insect-covered front, then work the side walls from top to bottom, because most of the road dirt sits low down. How to handle roof, windows and drawbar is covered in our guide Cleaning a motorhome or caravan on the road.

The habitation body is not car bodywork

Depending on the model, the walls are painted aluminum or fiberglass, often with decals. The living-area windows are usually acrylic, which is softer than car glass and scratches more easily. Rinse dust off them first, follow the manufacturer's care instructions and test NC1 on a corner first. The cab windows, on the other hand, are car glass – exactly what NC1 is made for.

After a ceramic coating

For motorhomes with a ceramic coating, NOBELCLEAN recommends the NC13 and NC1 duo: NC13 removes stubborn organic stains, NC1 then restores the shine. Applied correctly, this causes no scratches and the coating lasts a long time. You get both together in the NC1 Professional Set.

For rental companies

There is little time between two renters. Because NC1 works without water, you can clean wherever the vehicle is parked, even without a water connection. For businesses there is NC1 in the 5-liter canister; business enquiries go through our page Bulk orders & volume discounts.

Frequently asked questions

Can I make my motorhome shine with NC1 without water?

Yes, that is exactly what waterless care is for: on the road or at home, you can bring your motorhome to a shine anywhere and at any time. NC1 goes a long way, is easy to use and does not tie you to any particular place.

Is NC1 suitable for acrylic windows?

Acrylic is more delicate than car glass. Rinse off dust first, follow the window or vehicle manufacturer's care instructions and test NC1 on an inconspicuous spot first. Never wipe dry over dust.

Am I allowed to clean on a campsite?

Towns, municipalities and campsites have different rules. If in doubt, ask the operator, even if you work without a hose.

What is different with a caravan?

Insects collect mainly on the part of the front that sticks out above the towing vehicle. On the drawbar, leave out the coupling and greased parts and use a separate cloth so no grease gets onto the paint.
