Frequently asked questions
Can I use NC1 on high-gloss kitchens?
Yes. NOBELCLEAN explicitly lists high-gloss kitchens for NC1. Spray NC1 onto a damp microfiber cloth, wipe the front in one direction and buff with a dry side of the cloth. Test it on an inconspicuous spot first.
Is NC1 suitable for stainless steel, such as the fridge?
For the outside surfaces, yes: NOBELCLEAN explicitly lists stainless steel surfaces and sinks, so for example the fridge front, sink and range hood. If the appliance is coated, the manufacturer's instructions come first. NOBELCLEAN makes no statement on surfaces that come into contact with food – use the cloth with clear water only there.
Can I clean cabinets and furniture fronts with it?
Smooth fronts, yes – lacquered, foil-coated or glass: spray NC1 onto the cloth, wipe, buff. On open-pored, oiled or waxed wood, test an inconspicuous spot first. Do not use NC1 on upholstery, fabric or leather.
Are NC1 and the cloths suitable for glass, mirrors and taps?
Yes. NOBELCLEAN lists NC1 for taps, mirrors and other surfaces that should shine, and the cloths also for windows, shower screens and tiles. Spray NC1 onto the cloth rather than onto the surface.
At what temperature do I wash the cloths?
NOBELCLEAN microfiber cloths are washable at up to 95 °C. Wash them separately from cotton, with a little mild detergent and no fabric softener.
